This Week at Oregon United Methodist Church

"No Church Gatherings Through April"

Your church Administrative Council has met via email and discussed our short-term future.
Given the reports that cases of COVID-19 are expected to dramatically increase in the next month,
we have decided to cancel all church gatherings, including Sunday Worship, through April. We will continue
to hold a worship service every Sunday online. A link to it will be emailed to all church members who are on
our email list. A link will also be available on our Facebook page and website. You can also find us on
YouTube at: Oregon United Methodist Church.

If the Governor's stay-at-home is lifted before Easter, Nancy and I will have a terrific idea for a drive-through
Easter Celebration! It should be fun and meaningful for our congregation and engage the community. More on that
coming up if it's possible.

Whatever happens on Easter Day, April 12, whenever we are able to worship again as a physical gathering,
it will be Easter Sunday! No matter what it says on the calendar, it will be a day of resurrection and joy, and
we will celebrate it in Easter style.
